The hunting begins

Sakrol woke up in the middle of the day, he stood up and walked out of the building. He was heading to the library once again, the traffic today was a lesser mess compared to yesterday. Sakrol got to the library much faster and easier, the moment he stepped into between two bookshelves a map flew right in front of him from it´s shelf. Sakrol took a good look at the map to see if there were any forests, lakes or rivers nearby the city. There is a lake named Serass close to the city but it´s located on the other side of the city and that would be a long walking trip, however there is a forest named Remyr Grove that is much closer. Sakrol plans his path there and memorizes the map before letting it fly back to it´s shelf and then Sakrol leaves the library. He starts to walk in the direction of the forest, impatient to see what kinda creatures he can hunt there.

After some walking Sakrol finally reached the city´s edge and was able to see the thick forest in front of him. Remyr Grove seemed like a dark and a scary looking place, ignoring those aspects for now, Sakrol proceeded into the forest. He looked around a bit, even though light hardly came through the forests roof there was still a nice patch of grass growing from the ground. There were leaf bushes and flowers despite the lack of sunshine there, it was rather interesting. After a little exploring Sakrol started to look around for animals to hunt, he saw a rabbit in the distance and started to approach it quietly with his sword drawn. The rabbit was mostly brown but had light grey spots on it´s fur, it was eating wild cabbage in the forest and did not notice how Sakrol slowly approached it. Sakrol was now close to the rabbit, he jumped at the rabbit catching it in his arms. The rabbit was caught and Sakrol proceeded to kill it with his sword.

He then put the dead bloody rabbit on the ground, sheathed his sword and started to rip it into pieces so it would be much easier to eat. Sakrol started to eat the raw rabbit in peace. Raw meat sure tastes more awful than cooked one, I miss Elvire´s cookings... I wish I knew Fire Magic at this point. He continued his eating thinking about how the others were doing without him in the Otherworld. After finishing his meal, his hands were covered in the rabbits blood and he started to wander around in search of water. Sakrol found a pond in the forest and cleansed his hands from blood with the pond´s water. He sat down on the edge of the pond to rest his feet for a while. I wonder if the sun is already setting? It´s impossible to see if it´s night time or day time in here... Then some orange sun light started to shine it´s way through the tree branches into the pond, the pond was now glittering. Sakrol felt relaxed at the pond, it was quiet and peaceful there. But as night fell the forest became more active at night time, moon-light was now shining to the pond and different sounds started to fill the forest. Sakrol noticed a pack of werewolfs running around the forest, he took it as a sign that it was time to leave. He stood up and started walking the same path he came from, but as he walked he had this strange feeling someone was watching him and maybe even following him. Sakrol started to walk more quietly and tried to listen carefully if this feeling was true.

Then Sakrol heard that something fell down through the forest´s roof behind him, he turned around quickly while grasping his sword  in order to draw it just in case. It was a set of white armor with wings made from fire, Sakrol has seen it before. Hey, your that female angel that I saw yesterday fighting that demon! What are you doing here? Sakrol let go of his sword and was surprised to see her in here. The angel turned into her human form. Oh? Shouldn´t I be the one asking you that, young one? She smiled a little at Sakrol while asking, instead of wearing her purple dress like last time she was now wearing a brown long jacket with buttons, pair of blue jeans and black leather boots. She then continued talking before Sakrol could respond. A young man like you shouldn´t be wandering around the forest at night. It could be dangerous. Maybe I should escort you back to the city safe and sound? Sakrol didn´t like it how she talked to him, so he gave her a cold look. How about you don´t talk to me like I wasn´t able to handle things myself... Sakrol turned around and started to walk the path back to the city but before he could continue the angel asked. Well, what is your name young one? You can tell me that, can´t you? Sakrol stopped and took a look at the angel and answered. My name is Sakrol, what was your name again? She answered while smiling. Camiel, and I hope you will remember that young one. Sakrol then continued his walking to the city, he eventually got back and walked along the mainstreet until he turned to the sidestreet again where the abandoned building was located.

Night, Erick and Tomoe were sitting listening to a status report. The unregistered demon had been spotted earlier in the day by both a street cam and a camera in the city's library. Since then Ezezal's team had been shadowing the demon all day. The demon had gone into a forest and had not left until sometime after night time had fallen. Ezezal's team had then followed him to an vacant building. After which They had been called back and Erick's team would be heading there to apprehend him. The reason for this was mostly so Ezezal's team could get a break. From what Night heard B-team had been stuck with these monotonous task for a while now. However since Erick's team now had her, a vampire A-team was more suited for night time missions. They took one of MIRA's cars which was black in color and took off. According to near by traffic camera's the demon had yet to leave. It was probable that he was using the vacant building as a base for his time here. However long that was though he would still need to register. The car pulled into a vacant driveway across from the building and the team got out. Tomoe was now wearing jeans a purple tank top and pink hoody. Erick wore his usual attire and Night was wearing her immortal shroud as a black bolero jacket, she wore a burgundy tunic shirt under it and jeans her feet as always bare.The three went to the building and Erick took point with Tomoe taking the back of the group. Night could understand this, she was still new to were Tomoe and Erick had experience and could trust one another. As they entered the building Erick called. This is MIRA. We are here to bring in a non registered demon. If they come with us peacefully we can go ahead and get them registered. If you resist, we shall assume you are a threat to Gaia and her people. MIRA by law of the world government is to determine if a target or suspect is a threat. If so they are to eliminate the threat. So please just come in quietly and everyone can go on with there lives. The angel finished. Night had her hands in her pockets observing her surroundings. She may not look it but she was prepared for whatever could happen.

Sakrol was sitting in a room at the second floor, he then heard the sound of the door and several footsteps from the first floor. He quickly stood up but then he heard a male voice, it seemed that they knew that he was there. Sakrol listened to what the man had to say, it seemed that they wanted to arrest him. Hmm... I seem to have only three options, escape, fight or surrender... Sakrol was not sure what to do, but he decided to atleast take a small peek at the group from the stairs. He exited the room where he was and headed for the stairs, he took a peek around the corner. Theres three of them, that man is an angel, that fox-girl is a demon and that other girl is a... I´m not entirely sure... Sakrol had his back against the wall and made sure they were not able to see him, he then decided to ask something from the group. He shouted behind the corner. Who are you people!?

Nyx heard the demon shout asking who they were. So then he probably had no idea what MIRA was then. Erick spoke once more as he motioned with his hand for them to move forward silently. Nyx nodded and they started moving towards were they heard the voice come from. As I said before we are with MIRA. MIRA if you do not know is the Mystic Intelligence and Response Agency. We work for the world government. Think of us as both a police and military force. We are trained for combat and each of us have proven before to be able to handle ourselves in a combat situation. So it would just be easier on us all if you surrendered. Nyx listened to the explanation and personally had to wonder just what else she would end up doing in this organization. There were many potential prospects for fun after all as well as adventure.

Sakrol started to think for a while, he remembers that he had heard the word "MIRA" somewhere else before. He then said. Oh, I remember... I read something about your little organization from a book and a newspaper. He then started to move slowly and quietly to the other end of the hallway were the next set of stairs were located. He then shouted. How about this, Agents of MIRA... If you can catch me in this building I´ll come in quietly but if you can´t catch me, better luck next time! Sakrol then started to run up the stairs, he was heading to the roof as fast as possible.

They heard him start running and Erick cursed as it sounded like he was heading to the roof. Naturally as they were still close to the front door this presented a rather obvious problem. Or at least to Tomoe and Erick. Night reacted instantly and ran right back out the front door. She smiled and started running up the wall for as a vampire walking on walls and roofs was relatively easy. She heard Erick call for her but she would ignore the angel. She was not going to have them fail there first mission with her on the team. She made it to the roof top rather quickly. As she stared heading towards the door that the demon would have to come out of she called upon her void magic. A ethreal blue double bladed sword formed. She spun this overhead briefly for a bit and then held it at the ready for the demon to show. She wondered if he remembered what Erick had warned the demon running authorized them to do? She would still give him a chance to surrender of course. She knew the idea after all was to simply get him to register. However he had chose to run, and he had been warned the consequences. She wondered if he had done this out of arrogance? It had been her experience that many demons were arrogant, exspecially if they had a bit of power. Now all that was left was for him to reach his destination. There was no way after all for him to know that one of the agents would have the ability to cut him off.

Sakrol ran the stairs up but sometimes looked behind in order to see if any of the agents were gaining on him. He continued all the way to the roof and thought that since they didn´t seem to be able to catch him he was planning to jump down from the roof to the street and continue running somewhere else. Sakrol then reached the roof and stopped to take a small break but then he saw one of the agents in front of him, she had a weapon on her hands. Sakrol was quite surprised to see her there. Well now... I think you caught me, how did you get up here before me lady?

Night held her double bladed sword in what seemed like a casual manner. However this was a falsehood as she was more than prepared for him to try and run again. She did however chuckle at the demons question. I take it you have never seen a vampire before? If so you would know that a common ability among my kind is to be able to walk on walls and such. Just as easily as if walking down the street. Now please make this easy on yourself and surrender. I do not want there to be a death on my first mission with MIRA. As she was saying this Tomoe and Erick were quickly racing up the stairs to catch up with the two who had take off. Night continued speaking during this time as well. So I must ask. Why did you run? You know you are risking death by doing so right? Honestly all you have to do when we take you in is get you registered in the system as someone who is not a danger. However please know that running or resisting shows your a danger. MIRA here has legal rights to be able to kill any such threat. Much like the moon called Lycan you killed the other day. By the way thanks for that. Though it seemed you did not know there was a bounty. You could have collected a reward, may even be able to find a decent place to stay if you took up head hunting. The whole point of Night talking however was not to be helpful. It was simply to buy time. Once Erick and Tomoe arrived it would affectively cut off any escape path the demon had. This would result in checkmate hopefully.

Sakrol listened to what the vampire had to say, he then made a decision. Hmph... Fine, I´ll come in quietly... You did catch me after all, at least you people made this day alot more interesting. Then Sakrol was just standing there quietly waiting for the others to come up.

Erick and Tomoe came up from behind the demon from the stairs. Erick had both his twin eagle pistols drawn and aimed at Sakrol. As for Tomoe she had some kind of mirror floating around her. Night spoke before Erick could say a word though. The demon has surrendered we can bring him in. Erick frowned but nodded and holstered his guns. He then took out handcuffs and would place them on the demon and he would say to Night. You are suppose to follow my lead, my orders. Not break rank even if it suites the situation. You are on a team, not flying solo. If you were not new you would be getting a reprimand. Instead count this as your only warning. Night sighed and her void double sword vanished. So even if over all what I did benefited the situation it is still not to be done? Erick shook his head as Tomoe put her mirror in her jacket pocket. No but ask or. Just forget it for now. But remember you are not in charge but under someone else's directive while on duty. Night sighed not really understanding and the group would go to bring Sakrol in. Hopefully he would go to the car willingly. If so they would all go to drive back to the Thirteenth floor.

Night would sleep the whole car ride. She dreamed of her past of her training under her grandfather. She had decided to use her dreams as re training to regain lost skills and powers. The current dream of back when she was training her minds eye. She could see her grandfather walking in front of her saying. My dear you must visualize. Visualization is the key. You must be able to picture your surroundings. Be able to picture even the probable mana's in the area. This, this will slowly awaken your minds eye and with it nothing in the world can hide form your gaze. Night nodded. She took in the words of her teacher, her grandfather. The words of Count Dracula very seriously. Yes grandfather. She said while taking a deep breathe and focusing her mind. She had her eyes closed and sat in a meditave stance. She was slowly picturing the castle she had lived in since the age of ten. Like one drawing a map in there mind. As she did this Dracula continued. As a mage knight you have an advantage over mastering visualization that others do not. As a mage knight you must visualize your weapons before forming them out of your Yokai. The concept is the same. So you already have the basis. With this technique and with time you will even be able to see what moves your enemies will make before they make them. Night nodded continuing to her her grandfathers words. As she did she continued to visualize her surroundings. From the flicker of the candle flames to the motes of dust that slowly floated through the air. From the cracks in the stone wall to spiderwebs in the corner of the ceilings. Then would come the next step. She would slowly add herself in there. From her long raven black her to her closed eyes to the crimson dress she wore. The she started to envision her grandfather. From his hide boots to his trousers. To his shoulder length black hair to his pale white skin. To his black shirt and red coat, to the black moustache that adorned his lip. His hands behind his back pacing slowly to and fro as he taught his grand daughter. This was harder though than she first thought as it was hard to visualize just how her grandfather would move. She then started to slowly lose the whole image. Like a bad camera everything started to grow grainy. Then slowly it all trickled away like one holding water in there hands. When she lost it all she opened her eyes and sighed. I almost had it, but just. It was the movement that threw me off. Otherwise i had everything. Dracula nodded and said. If what you say is true than that was very good for your first time. Most do not even get that far. Honestly you show a lot of natural talent. From the skills you have shown in your mage craft to having Will of the Conqueror. I see the future holding much in store for you my grand daughter As those of us with such power, such talent. It is often the world will call upon us. Though at times the world may also villianize us. Now I want you to try again/ I am sure you will get it with time. Night nodded and closed her eyes once more. She knew her grandfather was right. She had little doubt she could do this. But she did have to wonder if her grandfather was right? Would the world ever need her? The very mention of vampire generally sent people running or on a witch hunt. So would a time ever come then when she would be needed? She pushed all of that to the back of her mind though as she once more started conjuring the image of the room up in her mind. She would do this for many hours until she finally had it down to the art her grandfather wanted.

The car jerked to a stop as Erick would park it in front of the MIRA HQ and Tomoe would step out as Erick frowned at Night once more and said. Have a nice nap? Night would smile showing her fangs and replied simply. It was delightful. She then got out of the car herself feeling her minds eye having been re awoken thanks to bringing that memory up while she had slept. Erick would then get out of the car and motion for Sakrol to get out as well and then they would all start to walk to the building.

Sakrol decided to be silent and just observe the agents work as they arrested him. He also listened to their conversations to learn something about them, Sakrol noticed that the angel was the leader of the group because he scolded the vampire for not obeying orders. Sakrol thought to himself that if that vampire would have not been on top of the roof before him, he would have jumped down from the roof and escaped the agents grasp. Sakrol smiled a bit as he thought how foolish the angel made himself look. The agents then took him with them into the car and started driving somewhere, Sakrol looked at the city from the window until the car stopped at their destination. Sakrol then followed the agents into the building with a tired expression on his face.
