Information gathering

Sakrol walked around the city in search of a good library until he saw a sign that read ”To the Grand Library” pointing to the right. He followed the sign´s instruction and kept walking in that direction until he saw this huge white building which looked quite old, there was a sign above the building´s main entrance saying ”Grand Library”. Sakrol smiled a bit, he had found what he was looking for and so stepped inside the library. Inside the library he saw millions of books resting on wooden shelves, the floor was made from marvel and the whole room was lit up quite nicely. Sakrol was confident that he could find useful information among all the other knowledge that the library had to offer. Sakrol started his search from the history section in hopes of finding a big old dusty tome containing the history of Gaia. As he was going through the shelves suddenly a big brown book moved from it´s place on it´s own and started flying slowly towards Sakrol. The book stopped in front of Sakrol and the books title was ”All about Gaia”, Sakrol picked the book from the air and took a good look at it. Huh... It would seem these books can read minds or something, interesting magic around here. He then took the book with him on a reading table and opened it, he started reading about the regions, races, dangers and about the world´s current goverment. When reading about these subjects he got a much better undestanding of Gaia and the people who live there.

After he was done reading the book, he closed it and the book flew back on it´s original place. Next Sakrol wanted to know what was currently happening around the world and so a yesterday´s newspaper flew in front of him and he started to read the news. There was alot of fuss around the terrorist group The Arbiters in the paper and how the group had made several terrorist attacks around the world. There was also news about M.I.R.A and how they deal with the current situations and how they have been trying their hardest to protect the people around the world from the terrorists and monsters. It would seem that the news were mostly filled with this kinda news from time to time. There was also job advertisements from MIRA and the Head Hunters Organization printed on the paper, it would seem they were looking to hire people able to fight these current threads that plague the world of Gaia. Sakrol closed the paper and prepared to leave the library, he had enough reading for today and it was time to take action. He walked away from the library thinking about everything he had learned today, he was heading to the city´s park to rest from a long reading session. He sat on the same bench like before and took a deep breath, looking at the early sunset.

After the sun had set completely, Sakrol stood up from the bench as he had enough of peace and quiet for now. He started walking along the empty main street towards the abandoned building to get some sleep in there but then he heard loud sounds and voices from one of the side streets. Sakrol became curious and started walking towards the sound, the voices started sounding like shouting and cheering. Sakrol walked around a corner and saw a group of people from all the different races standing in a circle watching something while shouting and cheering. He went closer to see what was going on and there was a fight between an angel and a demon, the two were fighting each other in their true forms. The angel was a set of white armor holding a lance and had a pair of wings made from fire on it´s back. The demon looked like a red colored lion standing on two legs, it had enormous claws on it´s hands and sharp spikes grew all around it´s body. The people watching the fight were betting money over the winner. Sakrol decided to stay and enjoy the epic fight that was happening in front of him. The angel was flying above the ground, making it harder for the demon to hit him but the demon was able to shoot the spikes on it´s body at the angel. The angel took a plunge towards the demon and hit it with his lance, then the angel descended to the ground as the demon got back up from the hit. The demon attacked the angel with it´s claws but was only scratching it´s armor, the angel kicked the demon on the ground and pinned him to the ground with his lance. The demon was not dead but was unable to continue the fight, the angel had won the fight. The angel got money for the win and he took his lance out from the injured demon, both of them return into their human forms revealing that the angel was actually a she...

The crowd started to clap, cheer and whistle at the beautiful female angel, she had long brown hair that was tied up in a ponytail, light blue eyes and red lipstick. She wore a purple dress and high heels. The defeated demon was a middle aged man with long red hair that was quite messy and brown eyes. He wore a light grey t-shirt, a pair of dark grey pants and red shoes. The demon was helped up by his friends which them left the arena silently. Then a man came through the crowd with his hands up demanding silence, he wore a dark blue suit with pants and shoes matching the suits color. The crowd became silent and the man started to speak with a loud energetic voice. Thank you all for being here tonight, it was a great fight indeed. Congratulations to Miss Camiel for winning the match! Come back next week to see another bloody battle, the same place at the same hour. See you all then! The crowd then started to dissipate into different directions, Sakrol too decided to leave and continue his path to the abandoned building for some sleep.

He went through a few more streets until he reached the abandoned building, he went in, climbed the stairs to the second floor and entered the same room where he usually hangs out. He sat down on the corner again and realized something important. Hmph, I´ve forgotten to eat all this time... I guess I´ll have to find a place tomorrow where I can hunt, I wonder if there´s any lakes or rivers nearby? Sakrol then closed his eyes and fell asleep.
