Welcome to an never ending event. This is a special horror event, it does not pertain nor affect main story line beyond the rewards that will be given for it at the end of each month. It is never ending so enjoy the festivities bwahahahahahahahhahahahahaha!

Story well your character wakes up in what seems to be a mix of a prison, asylum, and hospital all in one. The places does not seem to end and it also turns out to be a purgatory for you worse nightmares. If you do manage to get outside all that awaits you is an endless looping forest. Can you find the one who dragged you here? Can you survive the horror? Can you survive each other? Well find out Twisted Evil

Basic Enemies
1 Cursed Mannequin lvl 5: 1 point
2 Zombie lvl 5 enemy : 1 point even if multiple are faced
3 Low Class insane mutants lvl 10: 2 points
4 Moon called Lycan  lvl 15-20: 5 points
5 Blood fiend vampire lvl 15-20 : 5 points
6 Ghouls lvl 15-20: 5 points
7 Xenomorph lvl 20-40 pending type: 10-20 points
8 Predator lvl 20-30: 10-15 points
9 Mad/corrupt Demon lvl 25-35: 12-20 points
10 Clickers *cordyceps infection* lvl 15-20: 5 points
11 Bloaters *Cordyceps infection* lvl 25-30 : 10 -15 points
12 Mimic lvl 10-20: 10-20 points

Special FOES
These will be the ubber powerful enemies and obviously have fame to there name :3 Even if killed they will eventually be revived. So remember sometimes the best choice is to run.

*note these are base levels and they can change over the month and pends who they encounter

There will Also be traps and note I will be making character post for Night and what I call DM post as well. These will often come after someones post throwing a trap or enemy at them, thats right you wont have control of who you face but you will have control of them as a writer when you fight.

Note if you die in the event you will be Revived by an unknown force and will appear in the last safe room you were in. A safe room is a room with no enemies or traps. The penalty for death is +5 to your insanity Meter. More mechanics will be explained over time.

FOE's
Many enemy types in the Oh The Horror Labyrinth are omages to and actual horror villains and monsters. From your basic creepy moving mannequin to those pesky demons that always tend to get in the way. FOES however are the ones that stand out and stand on top. Major icons Horror and what they come from.
FOES stands for Formidably Overpowered Enemy. All have some form of special ability that gives them either +15 or +20 to all stats. All also come with an Aura of Fear special that can be activated. They also have a Form Change and FP abilities. They generally also come with at least 1 apocalyptic magic. Also when a FOE is in a room with someone a door in the room is automatically sealed by there power. It is possible for more than one FOE to end up in a room, and it is possible for a FOE to fully seal a room. Now the good news is there can only be one of ever FOE. However much like the player a FOE wont stay dead and will be revived. So even if you kill a FOE dont be surprised if you see it again.

Insanity
Now first I will warn here and now I got this idea from HP Lovecraft. The affects the tolls and the penalty including the final one. This single mechanic has changed this event drastically and none of you will realize just how much till the first person hits 100 insanity.

Now what is Insanity you ask. Well it is a meter that measures the insanity you suffer while in this Purgatory. For you see this place puts great mental stress on your character naturally and sanity will naturally begin to fail. Everyone starts off with there Insanity meter at 0. Insanity is incurred in a few ways. It is possible that a trap in a room may go off literally just to drive you to insanity. There are enemies who's aura and power will inflict damage upon your insanity. Both cursed mannequin and the mad demon enemy have a chance to have Aura of Insanity. If they do you will suffer +1 point of insanity.
Now there are also FOE's who will naturally inflict bits of Insanity.
They are as follows. Slenderman +5, Candyman +5, Freddy +10, Alma and Pennywise +15.
Another enemy that will inflict insanity will be if you die being poisoned by Cordycepts and a Cordycepts version FOE of you is born, if you run into it you will incur a natural +5 insanity for the simple fact you are facing a dead version of yourself.
Death as well will inflict insanity for the simple fact of the stress on the mind being revived after death would cause. After all it is a concept that is just a bit beyond logic even with magic. The insanity inccurred on death is +5.

Now do not fret. It is possible to recover the damage done to your mind. While in a safe room simply make a rest post. You can make up to 2 rest post in a safe room to recover 10 sanity, or 1 for 5. Anymore after that wont recover anymore sanity till you hit a new safe room.

Insanity and its penalties

Insanity meter at 1-25 will cause simply headaches to incur. The further along to 25 the worse they will be and can even cause problems while in battle.

26-50: Insanity at this level is when you will start seeing hallucinations. Shades that are not there and such. Nothing major and you will still incur headaches ones bad enough to cause your nose to bleed.

51-75: The hallucinations get worse much worse. These are the levels were your grasp on reality start slipping. Insanity of this level one could end up in a hallucination so vivid they seem real. Rooms will appear differently to people under this much insanity. You also suffer -5 to all stats.

76-99: Very much like 51-75/ Things are only getting worse and it is almost crippiling at times. You suffer a -10 to all stats under this amount of insanity.

100: You dissolve in a flash of Eldritch Green light. You lose half of your points and your character looses all memory of the Labyrinth. This includes any character interactions you have had. Your insanity goes back down to zero as well. However a new FOE is born at the same time. A clone of your character is added to the FOE list and they are surrounded by an Eldritch Green Aura. If you run into your own Eldritch Doppleganger you will incur an natural +20 insanity. If an Eldritch Doppleganger is slain it unlike other FOE's wont be revived.

Cordyceps Infection
Two Enemies come with this infection. Clickers and Bloaters.
Any race can be infected with Cordyceps and thus these are mutations of base races but the cordyceps have destroyed both class and jobs. Both come with highly poisonous attacks that poison damage is based on yokia/prana. Cordyceps infection is the name of this passive. Clickers have lost there rationale of magic and simply reinforce there physical attacks with natural poison magic that comes with the infection.
Bloaters are a highly advance stage of the cordyceps infection. They also come with the passive Fungal plate armor granting them a 10% damage reduction. They also have better control of there fungal spores via prana/yokai sat. From firing them as a poisonous spray, to bombs that leave clouds of poisonous spores.

Cordyceps infection also grants a +5 to all stats for clickers and +10 to Bloaters. Also if killed by the cordyceps poison an infected version of you will become a FOE. This version of you will lose class and magic but keep level and stats and use Cordyceps poison magic.
Note all demons angels vampires and half breeds of these two races have resistance to this. If they die to Cordyceps they still become an infected, however the affects naturally are greatly reduced.

Also note Cordyceps can be a natural poison trap for a room the spores filling it, these rooms all but the three above will take damage each post while in such a room.

Basic enemy Mimic added. They can imitate any inanimate object.

FOE Priestess of the Abyss
First thing is this FOE has 4 potential appearances and all have different spells but all have Void and Soul magic as well as the same specials. This FOE is based off of the Fatal frame series and the final bosses are basically avatars of the abyss after a failed ritual occured. Hence the name and why there are four.


Special FOE Legion.
Legion is a rare FOE and you only have a 1% chance to run into it. It has 4 forms based on level. 1-10 is just a orb. 10-40 The orb is a floating orb that is surrounded by a husk of bodies. 41+ It becomes a large humanoid figure that has hundreds of tentacles were its head should be.

Legion is a monster that gets stronger over time with 1 concept fueling it. Death. It is a monster weaved of Soul void and death magics. Everytime something dies *not including The Keepers Safe Respawn* And comes back Legion gains a fragment of whatever died. Each death is another level for Legion. It could gain the power to inflict insanity, fire laser beams, summon lightning storms. It all depends on what has died, what has fueled it. If you get unlucky and get that 1% you should know if you kill Legion it is reset. Everything with it is based on death. So will you feed this monster?

Fallen Hunters update
So as a Purgatory know this place has drawn in many before. Not just the current characters of this world but characters of other worlds as well. These are Hunters drawn into this, Hunters who specialize in hunting the inhuman. Though fallen to madness they still have an edge againts anything that is not human (human/cyborg/mutant) And will have natural perks against them. They will attack players and other npcs.

Witchers
Witchers are master alchemist using potions, bombs, silver swords, and even mutagens. Through mutation, masterful training of combat and and intense study they have mastered the art of monster slaying. Beware the Witchers and keep your head.

Blood Drunk Hunters
Hunters from another world? A dream? A nightmare? No one knows for sure other than that they are as ferocious as the beast they once hunted and madness seems almost second nature to them. Maybe they should have remembered to fear the old blood.

Vampire Slayers
Slayers of vampire and monsters from a powerful line of slayers. Each one having combated vampires, demons, lycan, and more. All bearing powerful alchemy able to enact spells such as a holy rain storm with holy water as a medium or even pillars of light using a cross. Each having used a whip specially made to kill the prince of darkness. So why are the they here?

Doom Slayer
From another reality supposedly and almost godly in power. He was the first and one of only two humans of his realm two traverse between hell and back. A master of combat and having absorbed the energies of hell has both a wide array of weapons and powers at his disposal. Using chaos magic he can charge his weapons and fire specialized attacks from turning his rifle into a small missile barrage to firing a laser canon and more. His two signature weapons is a chainsaw, and a weapon only known as the BFG. Using runes he learned in hell with his awakening he can temporarily take on a demonic form (based on DOOM 2016 multiplayer) becoming a Barron of hell and still retaining weapon use. Anything not human will feel fear upon the sight of him.

Special Enemy
So you may notice on the list an Enemy simply with a Moniker and question marks. Every few months this enemy will change and much like Legion is a special kind of enemy. Upon encounter and how the encounter goes I will award players a special prized themed after the character who holds moniker. Good luck.
