Personality: Mathew is a free spirit much like his sister. However is also very serious. He once was also ambitious wanting to lead the vampires into a new era. Much like his sister he is very strategic and smart but treats almost everything as a challenge which has lead to past conflicts with his own twin. However also like his grandfather he puts great value in family and heritage.

Bio: Mathew is the twin of Night Tepes and son of Alucard. Like Night also the grand child of Vlad Tepes. As her twin he was born a dhampir but his vampiric blood eventually drove out his human blood. Unlike Night Mathew always believed he and his sister were different from other humans and were destined for greatness. So when his grandfather found him he embraced it as an opurtunity to grow in power and knowledge. However when it came time for Dracula to choose a successor he became livid when it was his sister chosen. His mood worsened though when her came to find out Night had declined. This lead to a great battle in Dracula's castle between brother and sister. A battle Mathew lost and was forced asleep by his sister. However when he next awoke and found the council in place he accepted the fate of the Tepes family stepping down from power. After a while he finally grew back to loving his family and regretting what he did. With this he went to sleep around the same time as his sister and when he next woke he was determined to be a new man er vampire.
